The main purpose
1. Mainly used as one of the components of organic high temperature heat carrier to prepare heat transfer oil. A mixture of diphenyl ether and biphenyl in a mass ratio of 73.5:26.5 - heat transfer oil, temperature range: gas phase 232-399 ° C, liquid phase 21-399 ° C, working temperature not more than 400 ° C. A mixture of diphenyl ether and methyl biphenyl has a low freezing point and can be used at -30 ° C. It is a low temperature, low viscosity heat carrier.
2. Diphenyl ether has the aroma of fragrant leaves and sea bream, and also has the scent of sweet orange and daffodil, which is called crystalline geranium oil or artificial geranium oil in the perfume industry. Because diphenyl ether is more stable to alkaline, it is often used to formulate soap flavors.
