Nature: Liquid. Colorless transparent viscous liquid. It is easily soluble in caustic soda aqueous solution and acid with a pH of about 2.5. Precipitated in aqueous calcium hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide solution.

Uses: Used as a scale inhibitor for water treatment and other water treatment sites, chelate dispersant. It can also be used as a clarification accelerator for sugar liquids, beverages, etc., and also as a cosmetic raw material, a pharmaceutical pesticide exhibiting agent, a water-based paint, a cutting oil, and a soil improver component. Also used as a detergent raw material.
