Antistatic methods
1. Chemical method: antistatic agent was added in the film making and master materials to eliminate the antistatic agent.
2. Physical method: use electrostatic conductivity to eliminate static electricity effect.
Types of antistatic agent
1. Anionic antistatic agents: anionic antistatic agents mainly include alkyl sulfonate and sulfate, and cationic antistatic agents mainly include quaternary ammonium salts.
2. Non-ionic antistatic agents: mainly fatty acid polyols and fatty alcohols.
3. Organosilicon antistatic agents: sulfonates such as siloxane, polyoxyethylene ether copolymer and organosilicone oil.
4. Inorganic substance that is conductive: such as nanometer carbon black. (not easy to disperse)
Adding methods
Antistatic agents can be divided into two types: outer coating type and inner mixing type. External coating antistatic agent refers to a kind of antistatic agent applied on the surface of polymer materials. Inner miscibility is when the polymer material is in the state of melting and is added to the inner mixing evenly.
Antistatic mechanism
The action mechanism of antistatic agents is mainly that the hydrophilic group of antistatic agents increases the hygroscopicity of the surface of the film, absorbs moisture in the air, forms the thin water film and ACTS as leakage charge.
