Pay Attention To Some Problems When Using Bacterial Biopesticides

Bacterial pesticide is a kind of biological pesticide with high disinfection rate, no pollution to the environment, no poisoning to human and animal, and no inducement of insect resistance. However, the insecticidal action of bacterial pesticides is related to the number and activity of bacteria. To improve the effectiveness of bacterial biological pesticides, the following problems should be noted when using:

1. Temperature conditions

Bacteria biological pesticide spraying of the optimum temperature at 20 ℃ ~ 30 ℃, this is because of this kind of pesticide active ingredient is protein crystals and living spore, low temperature, spore in the pest breed extremely slowly, protein crystals is also not easy. Test shows that under the condition of 25 ℃ ~ 30 ℃ applying bacteria biological pesticide, efficacy is higher than in 10 ℃ to 15 ℃ when applying 1 ~ 2 times.

 

2. Humidity conditions

Pesticide use bacteria biological preparations, environment humidity, the higher the greater efficacy, especially the application of powder biological agents, pesticides because of bacterial spores are not resistant to dry environment conditions, so the powder spray bacteria appropriate when the dew in the morning and evening, for the bacterium agent to stick in the leaves of the base, and promote the spore reproduction, increase effectiveness.

 

3. Sunshine conditions

The ultraviolet ray in the sun has a killing effect on the spore, the direct sunlight 30 minutes, the spore death rate is about 50%, the one hour exposure death rate is up to 80%. In addition, ultraviolet radiation has a degenerative effect on spore crystals. Therefore, it is best to apply biological pesticides after 5 PM or on cloudy days.

 

4. Rain conditions

Moderate to heavy rain will wash away the bacteria liquid sprayed on the leaves, reducing the effect of the drug, but if it rains after 5 hours, it will not reduce the effect of prevention, but will have a synergistic effect.
