Pesticide sprayers fall into two categories
1.active agents, which include surfactants, wetting agents, oil-based, adhesive and penetrant.
2.Special purpose spray AIDS include buffer or acidifier or PH change agent, water quality control agent, anti-drift agent, thickening agent and admixture.
Proper selection and use of pesticide spray AIDS
1. Select agricultural spray auxiliaries specially developed for agriculture and forestry, such as organosilicon auxiliaries for agriculture. Do not use industrial products or household detergents and washing powders to avoid damaging the activity of pesticides.
2. Many pesticide dosage forms already contain necessary auxiliaries to improve the performance of pesticides.
3. It is believed that the spray agent to be used has been fully tested, and the product in doubt or uncertainty should be tested in a small range before being used in a large area.
4. Specific pesticides require specific additives, and the additives should be selected correctly when used.
5. The recommended pesticide auxiliaries may change due to the change of dosage form or change due to the change of the application procedure.
6. Pesticide spray is not required under any spray condition. A liquid impregnation test may be performed to test whether the spray contains excessive amounts of wetting agent.
7. Keep a good record of the safety, compatibility and effectiveness of pesticide mixture preparation, including pesticide dosage form, spray assistant, and so on. Improper or excessive use of aerosol AIDS may result in reduced efficacy or injury. Read the label of pesticides and auxiliaries carefully to ensure that the selected adjuvant matches the site of application, target pests, ordnance, and even the pesticides used.
