Fatty amine polyoxyethylene ether is obtained by the addition reaction of a higher aliphatic amine with ethylene oxide. When the number of polyoxyethylene groups is small, it exhibits certain cationic surfactant properties, along with polyoxyethylene chain. The growth of cationicity is gradually weakened, reflecting the nature of nonionic surfactants, which have many functions such as washing, leveling, penetration, anti-staining and dispersion. They are widely used in textile, printing and dyeing, food, medicine, Cosmetics and other fields have broad application prospects.
In this paper, five kinds of fatty diamine polyoxyethylene ethers (ADAEO10, ADAEO15, ADAEO30, ADAEO45 and ADAEO15/PO6) were selected to study the interaction between aliphatic diamine polyoxyethylene ether and different acid dyes. The application of amine polyoxyethylene ether and its compounding agent in acid dyeing silk and nylon, and anti-staining soaping effect in water washing after acid dyeing on silk dyeing printing.
The results show that there is a certain role between fatty diamine polyoxyethylene ether and different acid dyes. It mainly manifests in the displacement of the maximum absorption wavelength and the change of the maximum absorbance, which varies with the dye. When the dye is constant, the interaction between the auxiliary and the dye gradually decreases as the number of EO additions of the fatty diamine polyoxyethylene ether increases. Among them, ADAEO10 and acid dyes have the most significant effects.
The addition of fatty diamine polyoxyethylene ether can effectively reduce the dyeing rate of acid dye on silk. With the decrease of EO addition number of fatty diamine polyoxyethylene ether, the retarding effect is increased, and the unevenness of dyed fabric is decreased. The leveling effect of ADAEO10 and ADAEO15 is better. With the increase of the concentration of the auxiliary agent, the retarding effect is obviously enhanced, and the general dosage of 0.5g/L can achieve the desired effect. When the concentration of the auxiliary agent is too high, the final dye uptake rate of the acid dye will be lowered.
The leveling agents A and B which are mixed with ADAEO10, ADAEO15 and Pingping plus O-25 according to different proportions have good leveling effect on silk and nylon. In the dyeing of silk by acid dye, leveling agent A has better effect than leveling agent B; in the dyeing of acid dye to nylon, both of them have better effects.
The addition of the fatty diamine polyoxyethylene ether can effectively prevent the acid dye from re-staining the silk fabric, and the anti-staining effect of the soaping is enhanced with the increase of the amount of the auxiliary agent. Among them, ADAEO30 and ADAEO45 have better anti-staining effect. The four anti-staining agents formulated with ADAEO30, ADAEO45, ADAEO15/PO6, PVP, flattening O-25 and chelating dispersing agent in different proportions have good anti-staining effect in the water washing after silk dyeing printing. Formula 1 has the best anti-staining effect on silk fabrics.
