Efficient Development Of Zero Drilling Under Salt In Kenkiak, Kazakhstan

The subsalt fields of kenkiyak were once considered "unexploitable" by Soviet experts because of their "world-class development problems" in geology. In 1997, when CNPC acquired the achajubin project, kazakhstan attached it to petrochina as an "addition". After taking over, China innovatively applied advanced supporting technologies such as drilling and completion of horizontal Wells in the huge thick salt dome, acidification fracturing reconstruction of complex carbonate reservoirs and mixed transportation of oil and gas in long-distance pipelines, and successfully "rescued" the oil field.

With the development going deeper and deeper, it is more and more difficult to stabilize oil production, and the marginal benefit of capacity expansion investment is decreasing year by year. After the sharp drop in the international oil price in the second half of 2014, based on the economic evaluation results of new oil Wells, the ake jugubin project optimized the development and deployment, and postponed the total drilling workload of the oil fields under salt for three years. The project company grasps two grippers of oilfield fine management and new technology application, and stabilizes output and needs benefit.

In addition to enhancing comprehensive control of the oil field, the akerjubin project implemented single-well contract responsibility system in the oil production workshop, and carried out fine management of the oil well by "dividing the oil well into groups, wrapping the oil well into people". The contractor's salary and income shall be linked to the maintenance and management of oil well facilities, implementation of independent measures and completion of production tasks, and a floating wage system shall be adopted to enhance the employees' consciousness of autonomous management and responsibility, mobilize the employees' enthusiasm and stimulate the endogenous power. The change of management mode enables the project company to effectively improve the working efficiency of the oilfield under kenkiak salt and the production time rate of the oil well, and excavate the oil well potential without increasing input. As of June this year, natural decline of oil fields has been slowing for 30 consecutive months, with the natural decline rate of 4.74% in the first half of this year, 5.45 percentage points lower than the same period of 2014, and the development effect of oil fields has been significantly improved.
