Cationic emulsified asphalt is made of various surfactants, cationic shale inhibitors and asphalt with a certain range of softened points by special process. The micron bitumen particles with positive electricity are easily adsorbed on the negatively charged solid particles to participate in the formation of mud cakes and improve the quality of mud cakes. Their particles and cationic shale inhibitors can enter the shaft wall microfractures to produce adhesion and mutual aggregation. As a result, it plays the role of blocking, bridge, anti-swelling, anti-collapse, water loss and protection of oil and gas reservoirs. It can be used for drilling mud and water shutoff and profile control in oil and water wells.
