Product characteristics. Because amphoteric polyacrylamide contains cationic group and anionic group in molecule, it has the characteristics of general cationic flocculant and has better performance. This kind of flocculant can be used in a wide range of ph values, with higher filtration capacity, lower moisture content of filter cake, and can also be used for strong acid extraction of ore or recovery of valuable metals from acid catalysts containing metals. Amphoteric ions are by no means a mixture of anions and cations. If cationic polyacrylamide is used in combination with anionic polyacrylamide, precipitation will occur. Therefore, amphoteric ion products are the most ideal.
